Back at home!!
I was SOOOOOOOO excited to get home and see my little man today!! I didn't get to spend too much time with him though...he must have played hard at Grandma and Grandpa's so he was pretty tired when he came home. After a nap we tried a new food, Bananas!! Also, a new way to feed him...no highchair or spoon. He seems to have an aversion to the spoon but if you put the food on your finger he will open up a few times. He ate a little, but he seemed more interested in the bowl!
Lutsen Weekend
Our first weekend away from the little man. I think I told Chris I missed him like 100 times over the course of the weekend!! Chris golfed at Superior National on Friday afternoon with Wally & Kevin. I rode along, there was no way my golf game was ready for a course like that! At last count Chris had lost 9 golf balls. It was a gorgeous course, beautiful view of the lake and two holes right by a waterfall.
The golfers
They must be thinking holy s***!!
Views of Lake Superior

Mother Nature was cooperating.... The day before the wedding a little to cold and the day after was REALLY cold and raining, but Saturday the weather was perfect!! There was a cocktail reception on the deck and dinner and dancing in the lodge (lots of dancing by the guests....could have something to do with the lots of drinking). After the dance there was a bonfire down by the lake complete with smores!!

6 Month Check Up
Ben had his 6 month check up today. He is 26 3/4 inches (75% percentile) and 17 lbs (48% percentile). He still hasn't rolled over yet but I think he decided to skip it all together and move on to sitting. The doctor said he was sitting VERY well for 6 months so no worries that he hasn't rolled over yet. She also gave us some tips for getting him to eat solids....so far he hasn't even wanted to try a spoonful, and when we do manage to get some food in he spits it out!
Officially a "blogger"!!
Ben is 6 months old now and doing such amazing things every day that I would love to share pictures and stories more often so.... I thought it was time I tried out "blogging". I plan to update it at least once a week with whatever fun things we are up to. Bookmark it on your computer and visit often. Hope you enjoy it!
