More Fall Pictures

Finally got a few nice fall days earlier this week. Ben and I went for a beautiful afternoon run through the trails in Victoria. Had to bring along the camera the next day to take a few shots it was so gorgeous! There were so many fallen leaves we could hardly see the trail! Ben thought the leaves were pretty cool :)

North Shore

I know most folks who check this blog are looking for pictures of Ben. I don't blame you, he is the cutest one in the family! However, on our recent anniversary trip to the North Shore we took some gorgeous pictures (if I do say so myself). There was quite a bit of color left for that late in October, we got lucky!

A restaurant we stopped off for lunch...it was delicious! Squash ravioli and asparagus/egg sandwich!

My neighbor and friend Christina took our family pictures again a few weeks ago on a chilly but sunny Friday afternoon. These are a few of my favorites....one will probably be on the Staloch Christmas card this year (act surprised when you get it)!!

Update

It's been a busy few weeks. We were out of town for our 6th anniversary...I'll post some pics from the beautiful North Shore later. Ben came down with a bad cold. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for taking care of him while he wasn't feeling well! Since we have been back it's been fixing one thing after another...the garbage disposal, printer for the computer, and our TV is still on the fritz. I don't have any new pictures of Ben but here is a fairly recent one Chris took of Ben one morning while I was getting to sleep in (lucky me!). Also, a short video of Ben and Chris playing :)

9th Annual Friends Thanksgiving - in October!

Our annual Friends Thanksgiving was moved from November to October this year so we could enjoy the fall weather at the Semerad Farm in southern MN. Well, we should all know by now that MN weather=unpredictable so it was around 37 degrees that day! We dressed warm and had a blast! There was pumpkin carving, costumes, farm tours, apple cider, wine, bonfire, turkey, stuffing, pies, and of course good friends! The group has grown over the years with two additions since last year...Ben and Mila. We look forward to many more Thanksgiving celebrations together!!

Twins Fans

Instead of the usual purple attire for Sunday football, today was a red, white, and blue day. Dad got Ben dressed today and they cheered on the Twins together. Well, Ben cheered while he was awake. He took a nap half way through the game but got up in time to see the end.

Tomorrow we will wear purple (even though Ben will be going to bed before the game starts)...and Tuesday it's back to the red, white, and blue.
