Girls drive cars and trucks too!

Ben will be teaching the girls many things over the years but here is one cute one.  I don't think Ben did this when he was 11 months old.....  not sure we even had any cars around yet!  So cute!

Pool day

We filled the pool on Sunday since it was nicest day we have had recently.  The water didn't warm up enough for the girls to go in but we let Ben get in and he loved it.  He would sometimes shiver a little and I would ask if he wanted to go in and it was a big NO of course.  The girls ended up getting wet anyway...they played at the side of the pool with the toys and splashing around.  Then Allison decided to explore, she just took off crawling across the yard!

I love the days I can be outside on the porch with the kids.  We put a picnic table in the middle and Ben puts his quilt that Grandma made him on it with all the roads.  We eat lunch and snacks out there together....the only problem with that now is the girls are tall enough to pull up on the table then they will help themselves to your food if you aren't looking!

Fun family outdoor wedding

We attended a family wedding this past weekend, on Chris's mom's side of the family.  It was in Mankato, our first trip overnight trip with the girls went pretty well!  The reception was at the bride's dad's house which was just outside of Mankato.  They had a big tent setup and a dance floor right in the yard!  Ben loved running around and jumping on the dance floor.  We brought the girls for awhile and then Grandpa and Grandma picked them up and took them back to bed so we could party with Ben!

Allison's new tricks

Allison has been learning new things the past week.  She started waving, clapping, and shaking her head from side to side (like no-no). I got the waving and clapping on camera.  She loves to perform for Ben :)

Here is what some of the girls interaction with each other looks like.  It's either they are playing side by side with seperate toys not noticing each other or wanting the same toy and getting upset about it.  I know this is probably just the beginning...

And two minutes later, I hear a fuss from Allison...Samantha is back to get the toy!

Ben's first Twins game of the season

We took Ben to his first MN Twins game of the season over Memorial weekend.  He was very excited to go to the baseball game, kept asking all morning to go.  He enjoyed himself but watched almost zero of the game.  He had fun eating some of mommy and daddy's food, looking for the mascot TC, doing high fives with everyone that was sitting around us.  He asked to go home around the 6th inning but he made it until the 8th....pretty good I think!  He did really well with no nap, but he was definitely tired, he fell asleep on the car ride home :)

Update

Where does the time go?  Sorry, for the big delay in posting new pictures.  We have been VERY busy doing yard projects, working on the deck, selling all our baby gear, and lots of other stuff I can't think of right now!!  Here are some pictures from the last two weeks.
