Halloween 2011

Ben's first Halloween that he actually went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.  All the kids had fun getting dressed up in their costumes.  We went over to the neighbors to take a few pictures first then Ben went out with daddy and the girls went home with mommy to hand out candy.  The girls liked to see all the kids coming to the door and when the kids would leave the girls would wave and say bye-bye!

We did pumpkin carving on Sunday night.  Ben didn't like taking out the pumpkin guts....in fact he wouldn't touch them :)  He did however like making the faces and helping to pop out the pieces when mommy and daddy cut them out!

Leaves

The first time we have actually raked leaves.  We still don't have that many but enough for the kids to play in a little pile.  Ben was a big fan and he was sad when we put them in a garbage bag at the end :(

15 month stats

The girls had their 15 month check up today.  Here are the stats:

Samantha
Weight: 23lbs 3oz (50-75%)
Height: 32" (95%)

Allison
Weight: 21lbs 10oz (25-50%)
Height: 31" (75%)

Fall at the Apple Orchard

We took the kids to an apple orchard over the weekend.  We had a great time, lots to do with the kids, Ben would have stayed all day if we let him.  The one thing we did I didn't get a picture of what the tractor hayride.  All the kids loved that!

I am not very good with picking out cute girls clothes but I am learning and I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with this cute combination :)  I tried to get a good picture of the girls (Grandpa has requested one) of course that is why we pay a photographer because it's impossible to get two moving children to look at the camera at the same time :)  Here is the best I got....their backs :)

What happens when mama is away

Chris took some video while I was away.  Mama probably would have stopped it and talked to Allison about how to be gentle but daddy decided to pick up the video camera :)  Does make for a little laugh at poor Samantha's expense.  The kids are getting a little rougher with each other the bigger they get!
