More water fun with Ben

He loves the pool! We have gotten it out twice in the last week. Tried the sprinkler today, he wasn't as fond of that but still had fun outside on a gorgeous summer day!

Bathroom is done!!

Plumber finally came last night and Chris had already finished up the rest over the weekend. He installed the shower doors, towel bars, mirror, touched up paint and hung pictures. I might take a shower in it tonight just to make sure it works right :)

I was watering the grass seed Chris planted last weekend thanks to those damn voles again. Ben was very excited about the water....putting his hands in it, getting sprayed, drinking it, etc. By the end he was soaking wet but he had a blast! We will have to get the pool out this weekend!

Staloch household is busy, busy, busy!

I thought things were suppose to happen in 3's....well the water softener makes 4. Since the beginning of June we have had the AC fixed in the house, the AC fixed in the car, replaced the microwave at the condo, and now had the water softener fixed. Of course that is all in between trying to get the basement finished and getting ready for the baby girls coming next month. I hope all the housework is done for the year, we will be busy enough with other things soon :)

I have had a few requests for some basement pictures. The bathroom still isn't finished (hopefully next week) but here are a few pictures of what is done. I can't wait for the bathroom to be done! I want to sleep down there....nice and cool for the pregnant lady :)

This is the main room, future living room. Hope to have built in's, big screen TV, and fireplace on the far wall at some point. Now it's Ben's playroom.

Ben's babies

I went to Target to buy Ben a baby, so he could start getting some practice/use to the idea/etc. I found baby twins :) Here is Ben pushing them around in a stroller....although he likes to push them around pop-a-wheelie style!

Trip to the zoo

We took Ben to the MN zoo today. I think his favorite thing all day was the monkeys!

Ben's new playroom

Here is one picture from this past weekend.... moving everything back down to the basement. It took a good two days for Chris to move everything back down from the garage, under every bed, in every closet/nook and cranny I could find to store things. I would think we were done then remember another place we had stashed away more things. I am so glad there is lots of storage in the finished basement! It's all done now except for the bathroom. More pictures to come...

Working on the babies room

The babies room was painted on Saturday and Sunday was time to put the room together. Ben "helped" dad put together the cribs...or should I say he found all sorts of new ways to entertain himself in the girls room :) I still have some decorating to do but more important, it is ready enough if the girls decide to come early!

A cute picture from this past weekend. We went to a BBQ at Uncle Nic's house and Ben had lots of fun running around and climbing on everything! Oh, and did you notice they match?! Ben even had a green polo shirt under his sweatshirt :)
