Which one looks like Ben?

So we are often asked or people mention which one of the girls look most like Ben. The other day we look through some old pictures of Ben so we could look for ourselves. Here are the pictures of Ben.....

We had already guessed but looking at the pictures confirmed it......

Ben - then and now

Anyone remember this? Ben use to sleep like this when he was a baby until he could roll on his tummy to sleep which wasn't until he was 8 months old.

I checked on him before going to bed one night...

Yes he still sleeps like that when he is on his back :)

Allison - fussy eater

This is what Allison thought of a new food I gave her. It was some kind of vegetable. Eventually I mixed it with a fruit she liked and then she ate it! That's Samantha fussing the background saying, "I'll eat it"!

Samantha - moving and destructing!

Samantha is able to move almost wherever she wants too. She rolls from one end of the room to the other. She might be one of those babies that never crawls and just rolls where she wants to go! She has also started doing the "worm" a little and moves backwards. The last few days she has been squirming over to big brother's train track and taking it apart. Tonight I looked over and every piece was taken apart!

Walk

Our first walk of the year outside!! Can hardly wait till we can do this every day!! Ben mowed the sidewalks while we walked :) He was sooo excited to go outside, I had to bribe him to come back inside the house for dinner!

Ben's first fracture

I had a request for a picture of Ben's fractured finger :) This was taken 5 days after it happened so it looks much better than a few days prior. He put his owie (spell?) up on the table for me so I could take a picture...just like he did when they took the x-ray.

Allison isn't too far from crawling....she gets up on all 4's and this time backed herself under the couch!

Funny girls

The girls have been quite the comedians lately so I have been trying to catch some of their antics on video.  Enjoy!

 Allison is a giggler....she LOVES to laugh and is very ticklish! (the little whining in the background is Samantha....she was sitting on daddy's lap I guess wishing she was in on all the fun!)

  Samantha practicing her new skills when it's time to be going to bed.  Guess this helps tire her out before falling asleep?!

 

Should I be worried she doesn't seem to mind licking something as rough as sandpaper!

Doctor's office twice in one week!

I took Ben to the doctor today (the girls went on Monday for colds).  He smashed his finger under the cover of one of our ottomans on Tuesday and it was looking a little worse each day, possibly infected so I took him in.  They took an x-ray and said there was a tiny fracture so he needed to be on antibiotics for infection.  No worries, he is totally fine.  The day it happened he was very upset but he was at music class by the end of the day and we have been playing as usual ever since.  Here are some pictures I took yesterday of some of our indoor projects.  I can hardly wait until we can go outside and play again!

Rock 'n' Roll

Yesterday Ben and I were leaving for music class and he told me it was "time to go".  He then said "Rock 'n" Roll".  It took me a second to figure out what he was saying and why.  Chris was right there and apparently when they had went outside the day before when it was time to go out Chris said "let's Rock 'n' Roll".  It kept me smiling all night :)
