Did not miss my calling as an artist

A fun night out earlier this month with some of my girlfriends.  It's called Wine and Canvas.  It's an art/painting class held at a restaurant in the cities so you can eat and drink wine while you paint.  The instructor was up front showing us how to mix the colors and the measurements, what to paint next etc. It was a fun night.  I still haven't decided what to do with the panting, if I want to hang it up or not.  You are always more critical of your own work!

V-day treat

So I haven't taken very many pictures in the past month, hence the lack of blog updates.  Here are a few I took on Valentines day.  I made some almond flour heart shaped cookies for the kids and also....don't laugh some chocolate covered bacon :)  I saw the recipe on one of my paleo websites.  The kids liked it, Chris and I just thought it was okay.  I'd rather have my bacon and chocolate separate!  We also made them heart shaped cheese sandwiches :)
