This year we definitely had more participation from the kids with the pumpkin carving. Ben had always not liked to touch the insides of the pumpkin but we got him to come around to it this year. The girls did great. The best part was Ben was able to draw on his own pumpkin this year and even did most of the carving himself with a kid carving knife. Daddy helped a little with the hard parts. I helped the girls with their faces and they decided what shape the eyes and nose should be, should it be happy or scary, and how many teeth it should have :)
