Took the kids to Deardorff Orchards which is on the way to Waconia again this year. We decided to do the pick your own apples this year. Usually we just do the tractor ride, see the animals, play on the hay bales and call it a day, but during the week the tractors don't run so picking apples was the highlight this trip. They each took turns picking the apples off the tree. It was fun to show the kids where there food grows/comes from. The hardest part was not twisting your ankle on all the apples that had already fallen on the ground.
The kids got to visit Deardorff two more times while we were on vacation. On the subsequent trips they did the tractor ride and picked pumpkins. Apparently on the last trip they said "we are going here AGAIN?!?" But I doubt that was any kind of a complaint.

Looks like it was a lot of fun!
